March 2010 Meeting -- Road Trip to Reef Savers

CMAC's March 2010 Meeting is going to be a road trip to the Atlanta area to visit one of the club's newer sponsors -- Reef Savers. If you haven't caught sight of some of the pix being posted by people that have visited and purchased corals from Reef Savers, take a look around at some of them -- I don't think you'll be disappointed. If those pix aren't enough to tempt you into going, there's two more things to consider...
1) In talking with Bobby at Reef Savers, he has mentioned that their expanded system should be up and running by the time CMAC visits. If so, there will likely be 1,000+ corals to see when we visit!!! Shocked

2) Deb has made arrangements for CMAC to borrow a 13 passenger van to make the trip. Now that's what I call carpooling. The club will be paying for gas for the van and would like to make a donation to the church that is allowing the club the use of its van. Any riders (or non-riders) that would like to chip in a few bucks towards that end are welcome to do so, but no one will be required to do so. FYI, there's no smoking allowed in the van.

If you're interested in going and riding in the van, please reserve your seat ASAP as seats in the van will be available on a first come, first serve basis. Even if the van fills up, I've heard of a few people that have mentioned they'll make the trip in their own vehicles, so you can likely catch a ride with them (I'm sure offering to split gas or buy them dinner would be appreciated).

Again, please be sure to post to reserve your space in the van if you'd like to ride in the van. I'll keep an updated list of van riders here in this post.

I hope many of us can make the trip! Considering the likelihood of their being over 1,000 corals to shop, I think the drive will be well worth it.

Please RSVP if you plan to attend, even if you'll drive separately or make other transportation arrangements.

Each 2010 Paid Member will receive a $10 gift certificate to Reef Savers that can be used that day. It doesn't get much better than that -- pay the $10 dues to be a Paid Member for the year, get a $10 gift certificate to use at Reef Savers.
